Emissions reduction targets<\/strong><\/h4>\n

We are committed to becoming Net Zero by 2050 across our locations. Underpinning this commitment are the following carbon reduction targets. We project that carbon emissions will decrease over 30% tCO2<\/sub>e by 31st<\/sup> December 2030.<\/p>\n

Carbon Reduction Projects<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives<\/p>\n

The following environmental management measures and projects have been implemented since the 2021 baseline.<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Implemented a travel embargo and promoted e-meetings and networking, which reduced travel emissions.<\/li>\n
  • Sourced renewable electricity for our buildings<\/li>\n
  • Commenced a rolling programme of capital upgrades to our offices (e.g. installing LEDs; and decarbonizing our heating systems)<\/li>\n
  • Invested in digital technology and the development of a \u2018Sustainable Delivery Framework\u2019 to help us reduce project-related travel emissions<\/li>\n
  • Implemented sapling plantation drive called as Cignitree, where more than 2000+ saplings were planted by Cignitians<\/li>\n
  • Appointed Amit Kapoor (AVP \u2013 Marketing) as Sustainability Officer, who will look after Environment, Social, and Governance initiatives including Sustainability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    In the future, we are planning to implement further measures such as:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Raising awareness through campaigns, roadshows, and awareness programmes<\/li>\n
    • Developing new practices, processes, and carbon offset initiatives<\/li>\n
    • Continuing to host green building premises<\/li>\n
    • Commencing a rolling programme of capital upgrades to our offices (e.g., installing LEDs; and decarbonizing our heating systems)<\/li>\n
    • Investing in certified market solutions for emissions, which we cannot eliminate<\/li>\n
    • We will progress towards Social Value Quality Mark Level 2, which includes a pledge on environment sustainability<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      In the future, we will continue to create projects around the above themes of recycling and renewable electricity, business travel emissions reduction, greenhouse building optimization, and efficient operations.<\/p>\n

      We will also ensure wider sustainability decisions in our business operations, empower our associates to lead by example, and convene ecosystems that will enable us to reduce carbon emissions across the locations where we operate.<\/p>\n

      Declaration and Sign Off<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06\/21 and associated guidance and reporting standards for Carbon Reduction Plans.<\/p>\n

      Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard1\u202fand uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting2.<\/p>\n

      Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard.<\/p>\n

      This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).<\/p>\n
