So, I am going to start with Ed. Here are several different trends that are\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">emerging,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0and our company is quite focused on<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0actually<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">First one that I\u2019ll<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0talk about i<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">s really<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0around on-board connectivity<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Especially\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">around the airline industry where you\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">definitely\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">see a lot\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">more\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">of airline<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">s\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">invest<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0in on-board connectivity<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0on planes which kind of<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0open the world in terms of retail and commercial opportunities.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The other big item that\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">we are currently focused on are<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0the internet<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0of things<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">(<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">IoT<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">) &#8211;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0devices that sort of record<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">for<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0us<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0it<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0applies in allowing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0devices to interconnect with each other within the different units that we support<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, t<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">hat transitions and transfers the data across folks who can make decisions based on<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0that<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0data.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The other big thing is\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">big<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0data<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">of course<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, which<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0is not<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0really<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0a new trend but<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0kind of an ongoing trend. But really\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">taking it to the next level\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">from a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0predictive analysis\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">stand<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0point<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0allowing us to better plan and execute as to how do we service our customers.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Finally,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">we\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">are combining virtual\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">or\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">augmented reality<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">It<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0is definitely something we are looking a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">t and it is very much a new world for us which\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">allow<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0our customers to either experience<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0specific service or offering before they approach it or relay some critical information through them<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0to be able to meet the goal<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0is allowing the customer in getting better and more satisfying experience\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">utilizing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0our services.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ralph:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Kind of\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">spring boarding<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> that answer, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Cigniti has worked\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">with<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0many clients in the hospitality sector. When I say hospitality, I am broadly talking about cruise lines, airlines, and food and beverages, theme park, and any other mode of transportation.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">One thing that we see especially in this industry domain\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">is\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">that a lot of these applications that are built are a lot more consumer<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&#8211;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">facing because the businesses are typically B2C. Of course, there is some B2B component as\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">well,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0but\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">they tend to be<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0mainly B2C, so\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">there is\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">a lot more consumer orientation and hence there is a need for approaching especially from the quality assurance and testing standpoint<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0from an end<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&#8211;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">user point of view<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Some of the best practices that we have followed when\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">approaching the solving of<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0the challenges related to quality management<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0and testing are:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">When we put together a test team and make sure there is enough domain expertise first within the team<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0\u2013\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">people that not only understand technology, tools, and testing as a Subject Matter Expert<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ise<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0but\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">also\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">have huge experiences that have brought specific domain expertise related to that particular industry. That really helped us a lot<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">O<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ne\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">more thing is that since a lot of these applications are more like self-serving and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0also<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0consumer oriented, so it is important for the\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">teams<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0to think\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">like a user\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">and act like a user when\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">actually\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">approaching the overall test strategy. So, having the mindset of an end-user\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">when\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">approaching the overall test<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ing<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0is critical<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0as well<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">. Since a lot of these applications that are being developed are developed in conjunction with business very closely, we see that there is a lot of benefits in testing it early and testing it often\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">early\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">in the lifecycle helps a lot<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0to avoid scope\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">creep<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0and things that are happening in terms of the end quality of the product later on.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ralph:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Okay, Ed let\u2019s go back to you. You did a good job in explaining in your first answer regarding things that go\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">on\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">in the hospitality industry and some of the important factors that are related to it. I would imagine in that sector they need some serious predictive intelligence to run their business and\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">that could be\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">facilitate<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">d<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0it in a number of ways by artificial intelligence<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&#8211;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">enabled tools, algorithmic decision<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&#8211;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">making mechanism<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, or even in-person services<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">. So,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">how do you think the quality engineering efforts can enable things in bringing a more strategic and result<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&#8211;<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">oriented approach to function seamlessly.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ed:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">I think a lot of that answer kind of brings up the approach in the previous question around basically the quality engineering group\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">providing that sort of<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0an early\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">&amp; often\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">feedback loop and\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">basically\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">puts<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0itself<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0into the mindset of the end-user. I think by establishing a good quality\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">engineering\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">practice\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">that builds to\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">two or three things that all customers\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">want which is<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0accuracy, reliability<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0and security<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, and we build that into the process when they go about testing for a product or application related to technology<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">. Since these technologies are<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0fairly<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0new to the market and industry, obviously<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0concerns around security, reliability<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0and<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0accuracy<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0of data\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">are<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0fundamental concern<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">So, the QA<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0or QE<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0team builds that foundation through the testing process and allows a lot of businesses to basically create the standards of quality<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">, the service levels they predict<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">QE seeks to<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0measure and repeat these tests, a lot of quantitative\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">as well as the<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0qualitative analysis of the process that is part of this technology.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ralph:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ok, so\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">how important is domain knowledge for the quality assurance professionals\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">to be able to work effectively in the hospitality industry?<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:360}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Ed:<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">I think there are two ways to look at it. Having a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0good<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0fundamental understanding of the hospitality industry can be seen as critical for success in that organization.
